Burst pipe, roof leak or flooded basement? We find the water damage the first estimate missed and deal with your insurance company for you. Nothing upfront.
Tell us what happened. We'll tell you straight whether you need us.
We checked. Not one public adjuster in this market publishes their fee. We'd rather just tell you.
Our fee is capped at 10% of your settlement – that's the ceiling, not the starting point. Nothing upfront, nothing hourly, and nothing at all if we don't recover for you.
Free. If your offer is already fair, we'll tell you.
We inspect it ourselves, including what the first estimate missed.
Nothing goes to your insurer until you've seen it and said yes.
Calls, paperwork, pushback. You get your life back.
Dealing with a basement water loss is one of the most stressful, overwhelming experiences a homeowner can face. The damage, the uncertainty about coverage, the endless paperwork, adjusting, contractors, and the constant worry about what comes next can feel crushing. Aaron and his team at ICA completely changed that for us. From the moment we reached out, they stepped in with calm expertise and genuine care. They guided us through every step of the claims process, explained what we needed to document, helped communicate with the insurance company, and advocated on our behalf so we didn’t have to carry the full weight alone. What could have been months of frustration and second-guessing instead became a structured, manageable process. Their team turned one of the worst situations we’ve experienced as homeowners into something that actually felt positive — we felt supported, informed, and protected the entire way. If you’re facing a water damage claim (or any insurance claim that feels overwhelming), I can’t recommend ICA highly enough. They don’t just assist with the paperwork — they restore a sense of control and peace of mind when you need it most. Truly grateful for their help.
The team at ICA was great!! I’m out of state but my mother’s home is in Michigan. She had a big water loss and I couldn’t come back and forth for the claim. Aaron and his team at ICA did amazing. They kept me updated throughout, and the final settlement they got us was waaaaay more than I expected. Job well done guys. If anybody is out of state with rentals or family…Call ICA to handle it! They took all the stress away and got an amazing final settlement so we could get my moms home put back. Thx ICA!!
Aaron and his team at ICA well exceeded my expectations! They kept me informed and updated throughout the entire process and got me nearly 4 times what my insurance company offered! I highly recommend ICA when dealing with an insurance claim! Very professional and thorough start to finish! Thx again ICA!!!
Aaron is great to work with! I've used him twice for claims and highly recommend speaking with ICA before you contact your insurance company if you need to make a claim. ICA was very thorough about what was covered under my policy and made sure I was reimbursed for every penny. My insurance company is a good company, but I am confident their adjuster would not have identified everything I was entitled to the way ICA did.
If something happens to your home and you need to file an insurance claim, calling ICA will be one of the best decisions you can make. The second story of my home was completely gutted by a fire. I knew the insurance claim process was going to be a long and stressful one, but I never expected the insurance company to make things as difficult as they did. That’s when I decided to call Aaron at Insurance Claims Assistance. After agreeing to the terms and signing the contract, Aaron took care of everything. He handled the phone calls, negotiations, and communication with the insurance company, and he kept me updated every step of the way. I never felt like I had to worry about what was happening or what needed to be done. Most importantly, Aaron was able to negotiate a significantly larger settlement than what the insurance company initially offered. His professionalism, knowledge, and dedication made an incredibly difficult situation much easier for me and my family. I honestly don’t see any reason to go through an insurance claim like this on your own. If you find yourself dealing with a major loss or a difficult insurance claim, I highly recommend giving Aaron and Insurance Claims Assistance a call. They will work tirelessly on your behalf to make sure you receive what you are entitled to and help get your home and life back to normal—or even better than before.
The best public adjuster for your insurance claim.
I’ve used Aaron and his team in the past during a terrible loss and he made things easy and seamless. Very professional and thorough. During a tough time like property loss, Aaron is exactly what you need to remove the stress and help you through the process. Highly recommend.

| The insurer's adjuster | You, on your own | ICA | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who pays them | Your insurance company | Nobody – it's your weekend | A percentage of your settlement. Nothing upfront. |
| Who they answer to | Their employer. Not you. | You | You. Legally. It's the entire job. |
| Who reads the policy | They do – and they know the exclusions cold | You. All 40 pages of it. | We do, line by line, before we touch anything else. |
| Who documents the loss | They write the estimate | You, against their estimate | We re-document it independently – including what you can't see. |
| Who wins if you're underpaid | Them | Nobody | Nobody – we're only paid out of what's recovered. |
Stop the water, document everything before it's cleaned up, and don't sign a final settlement until someone has read your policy.
Most underpaid water claims aren't denied. They're scoped too small, so only the damage you can see gets paid. Your insurance company's adjuster works for them. You can hire your own.
Moisture wicks up drywall and into subfloors and insulation. If nobody measures it, it isn't in the estimate.
When part of a floor or a run of cabinets is ruined, replacing just that piece leaves a mismatch. Michigan has no matching law, so it comes down to your policy wording and how well it's documented.
Often a separate endorsement with its own limit, and common in Michigan basements after heavy rain. Know what you have before you're told you don't. If a city sewer backed up, Michigan gives you 45 days to send the city written notice of the damage.
Furniture, electronics, everything stored in the basement. A rushed list leaves things out, and what isn't listed isn't paid.
If you can't live in the home during repairs, the hotel and extra costs may be covered.
On replacement cost policies, the depreciation held back is often recoverable once repairs are done, but most policies set a deadline to claim it. On Michigan homeowners policies renewed since July 1, 2025, insurers generally can't depreciate labor unless you bought an add-on allowing it.

The best public adjuster for your insurance claim.– Endrit M., Google
Sudden and accidental water damage, like a burst pipe or a failed water heater, is usually covered. Gradual leaks are usually excluded, sewer backup usually needs an endorsement, and outside flooding usually needs a separate flood policy. The cause decides the coverage, which is why we read your policy first.
It depends on where the water came from. A burst pipe is treated differently from groundwater or a sewer backup, and sewer backup is usually a separate endorsement with its own limit. When you report it, describe the cause (a burst pipe, a failed sump pump, a sewer backup) instead of just calling it a flood. If a city sewer backed up, you have 45 days to give the city written notice.
Shut off the water, document everything, start drying it out and report the claim. Frozen pipe claims get questioned when the home wasn't heated, so keep anything that shows it was.
Not always. Michigan has no matching law, so it depends on your policy wording. Some policies support replacing enough for a reasonable match. We document the mismatch and push for the full scope.
Michigan law gives insurers deadlines. Within 30 days of your claim they have to tell you in writing what proof of loss they need. If they don't pay within 60 days of getting satisfactory proof of loss, they owe you 12% interest on top.
Up to 10% of your settlement – 10% is the max, never more. Nothing upfront, and nothing at all if we don't recover for you.
